Returns Policy

Please read this with our Terms of Sale and Delivery information. Website and counter returns are both covered below.

30 days, with a receipt

Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery or collection and must be supported by a valid receipt, invoice or order number.

A restocking fee applies to all returns, except where the goods are faulty or we supplied the wrong item.

Special-order items are non-returnable.

Check goods on arrival

Inspect the delivery or collection before you sign. Shortages, transit damage or wrong items must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours, with photographs. After that we may not be able to claim against the carrier.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If we have sent the wrong item, or the goods are faulty or damaged in transit, contact us first. We will agree a replacement, refund or collection. Do not send goods back until we have confirmed what to do. Restocking fees do not apply in these cases.

Website (change of mind)

  • Contact us first for a returns authorisation. Unauthorised parcels may be refused.
  • Return the goods to our Mawdesley address at your own expense. We do not collect change-of-mind returns and we do not refund your return carriage.
  • Goods must be unused, in original packaging and resaleable.
  • A restocking fee will be deducted from any credit.

Counter (change of mind)

  • Bring the goods back to the branch that supplied them, with your till receipt or invoice, within 30 days.
  • Goods must be unused, in original packaging and resaleable.
  • A restocking fee will be deducted from any credit or refund.

Mark the parcel with your order number and the returns authorisation we gave you. Use a tracked service. Risk stays with you until the parcel reaches us.

Items we cannot accept back

  • Special-order items (ordered in, cut, sprayed, tinted or made to your size)
  • Cut lengths, trimmed boards or goods altered to your size
  • Roof lanterns, bifold doors, sliders and other made-to-measure items
  • Opened liquids, adhesives, silicones, resins, topcoats and similar
  • Goods that have been fitted, cut, painted, weathered or otherwise used

These can only be returned if they are faulty or we supplied them in error.
